Teenage brain development lasts for several years and has a huge impact on our teen's thoughts, feelings and behaviour. When the frontal lobes go under construction they lose the ability to make decisions, apply self-control and socially communicate. Add this to all the other things that are happening to them and you have the perfect storm for difficult, challenging and confusing behaviour. This session consists of a one hour and 45 minute recording of Jane Keyworth delivering an online session to parents in the UK. Jane explains the whole process; what is happing to them, why it is happening, and how we can support them through it.
